Today whilst I was sorting arrangements with a friend on the phone... dd1 was watching a little tv. She suddenly stood up, turned the tv off both at the TV and the wall and walked off up the hall.
I figured she had gone to play in dh and my room ( her fav) then heard strange noises.
Went to check.... dd1 had taken herself off to her room and was trying to put the stairgate up so she could have her daily sleep/rest. She looked so funny trying to put up the stairgate.
Just cracked me up - it used to be the stairgate was up as she refused to stay in her room and saw rests/sleep as pointless.... now she just takes herself off to bed like a big girl.
