Just thought i'd share. Ok it's with stabilizes, but I cried my eyes out! She had a bike for ages and every now and then will want to get it out the garage and have a go. Unfortunately, it always used to ends in tears, cos she gets so frustrated that she can't do it. She'll pedal once or twice and then says it's too difficult.
So imagine my delight when she came home from school saying that she'd been on a scooter and a bike. I thought let's give it a go , but was still assuming it would end in a mega tantrum. Ok, she wasn't exactly speedy, but she did it!!! And she steered, which really is a first.
Really didn't think it was going to happen. The last time I felt like this was when dd started to use a pen properly. She had a palm grasp up until little over a year ago and then literally over night, she was writing(ish) and colouring in!
Just wanted to share with you really. I'm over the moon!
Really needed something positive to happen.
