Hi,
Does anyone have an old bambach bambino seat with locking castors and seat back and foot rest that they would be interested in selling? Bambach want a thousand pounds for a new one, so I thought I'd see if there was a cheaper alternative!!

Thanks very much

I haven't got one but there's some places you can try, there's a few facebook groups that are run by and for parents to sell/buy sn gear so worth a look, there's 'Special Needs Equipment ~ Buy Sell Swap' on fb and there are other second hand sites like 'disabled gear', if you haven't already found them!

and of course ebay!

These are fairly new, my DS apparently got one of the first when he was two and is now 6 and won't outgrow for a while yet. I'd be surprised if there were any 2nd hand. It's worth a try though.

They are great, we have one at home and one at school, can you not get the lea or Nhs to fund?

I'm trying! Our boy currently goes to school out of borough, which seems to be a great excuse for them not to do anything. I'm waiting to hear from the NHS. Thanks very much for everyone's tips. I hadn't realised that a few people had responded. I'll check the fb sites. Ebay doesn't have any at the moment...

Hairymaclary - did you get both of yours funded?
