Thank you. I read that, although honestly I think most of us realise this already.

I think it's important to note also that due to difficulty in finding qualified child care, many families face financial difficulties as well because one parent invariably ends up staying at home being the carer. The financial strain, the isolation, and the lack of support then ends up causing long term ongoing stress, often resulting in clinical depression for one or both of the parents, marriage breakdown, and further isolation.

It is such a vicious circle. I cannot emphasise enough how important it is that we take care of ourselves as much as possible, even though it often goes against the grain. Many of the parents on here are worn down doing everything for their families, and don't spend nearly enough time making sure they are healthy!

It's tough to do, but it's very important. Just a thought for the day.
