I have the IPSEA template but how much detail do I need to put in it?

what do I need to say about school without swearing? Do I need to say what they have in place for her already? or keep it basic, i.e, DD has aspergers and flatly refuses to go to school?

Ideas pelase?

she's academically OK. just about pottering along, she could do better but she can't be bothered.. homework is a problem because she hates it. organising, navigating etc is fine. she isn't disruptive (any more than the average teenager) or agressive at school.

The problem is just getting her there. and making her enjoy it and make the most of it when she is there. how do you force someone to do and enjoy something they hate?

there is no particular reason why she hates it, she just does and would rather not do it. the aspergers means that whereas other people would just accept it and get on with it she won't.

She just says she hates it. and everyone there. she has a nice group of friends she's known since she was a toddler. but teacher, lessons etc - she hates.
she knows she can't just not go and she has to do something, but can't bring herself to go. we live in the sticks so choice is limited (to one).
The SENCO is supposed to be her 'mentor' and was supposed to arrange to see her every couple of weeks and hasn't.
I have emailed (again) and coppied in the head.
