some sort of clip that attaches a pushchair with a special needs buggy. Sure Ive seem them before. Dont really want to spend a fortune getting a pushchair that they can both use when this could only be needed for a relatively short time.

Thankyou all

There is the buggypod but it is only suitable from 6 months +

There is a SN puchchair that has a car seat adapter for underneath for younger siblings, that then turns into a stroller seat for later on. Sorry don't know the name, but hopefully someone will be along soon to help.

I think that Active Design make one but it's very expensive. Which wheelchair does your DS use?

sling and then a buggypod, I reckon.

mariamagdalena · 08/01/2012 19:49

sorry sling

This is probably hideously expensive, but I thought I'd put a link up in case someone else might search this thread in the future:

Thanks for the replies. Ive seen the pushchair that you posted link for js and i think it is hideously expensive and im just wondering if it would get the use as there will mostly be me and my dp out together, someone could well be interested later on though.DS1 is at school during day so not sure if i willl have the use for a specialist joint use buggy?

My son uses a convaid cruiser Boblob.

Just so much to think about with having a newborn and a non-mobile 6 yr old!

Have you contacted Fledglings? If they don't carry something suitable they will look for it or even make it sometimes.

there is also these or these, depending on you ds's ability I would say he would need to be able to sit unaided.
