On holiday in Egypt thanks to the Family Fund and DS is finally playing appropriately and has made a FRIEND!

I'm so grateful to the Family Fund as this is just what I need after the last 2 years of everything going wrong.

DS hasnt got out of the pool since we got here and is so proud that he managed to make a friend:) I am lying on a kingside sunbed and am having a spa treatment later. Life couldn't get much better. We're able to forget about health and special needs and just enjoy......ahhhhhh!

The friend wasengkish but unfortunately he just had a day pass to our hotel as it has an aqua park. Just back from a two hour spa experience with sauna, steam room, hammam salt massage and 45 minute Egyptian massage.

We won't be doing any of the trips as that would be pushing DS too much to expect that but am very happy. He is now happy watching one of his usual films :)

They gave me £550 in Thomas cook vouchers. Now is a cheap tome to go so havent had to put much towards it. Cashed in the share save at work as have been off sick such a long time It wouldnt mature for ages. All inclusive is great for DS as it doesn't matter if he is picky. There is always drinks, chips and ice cream!

They should be able to give you some vouchers towards dlp :).

We are at the jungle aqua park hotel in hurghada. Would highly recommend it.

i hope so ben10 (nice name btw) i am looking at going probably next march so any vouchers would need to be valid for a year (am eligible to apply again in march) although if i leave going until april i might be able to get some spending money next march. hmmmmmm
