i am in my 30's wonder if i might have dyspraxia ? my dd1 has just been diagnosed at age 6 yrs

i was late to crawl,walk, roll, ride a bike and swim when a child
i have always felt different to other people
talk alot , at a high pitch and quickly often cant understand
hv an addictive personality
hate sports
hate social situations
dont like going out
find it hard in certain situations
hate cooking so dont
hate cleaning
not interested in much

Yes, you might have dyspraxia.

Would you like to get a diagnosis? Or do you feel you know how to cope with things now, and there's not much point?

I'm sure as you help your DD you'll learn a lot more as well......

I bet you're not the first parent or family member to have that light bulb moment, these things are often genetic.

Wow, it must be really strange recognising yourself in the list of symptoms. I hope it helps you to understand yourself a bit more and it might make helping your DD easier if you can really understand her difficulties. Smile
