Hello I have joined Mumsnet hoping you will be able to help me find - by recommending a school - for my 13 year old profoundly autistic son - (also profoundly lovely and beautiful son - the autism is just a label).

We are willing to look at all areas of the country.

We are keen that the school be set on acres of land - as thats our sons thing!

Thanks xx

you could look at the senad group and the priory group as well as the nas, there's another group but I can't remember their name right now. I think it's just a case of visiting and seeing what you think as what suits one child might not be the best for the next. I know a couple of the senad schools are in the middle of nowhere so might meet your criteria Smile

www.optionsgroup.co.uk have 3 schools in different areas, all offering 52 week placements. I don't have any experience of them I'm afraid, just happen to live near one.
