I suggest you go into B&Q and raid their christmas stuff at 75% off!! This is the 3rd year i have taken dd1 there and found things that light up, things that are lovely to touch and things that jingle :)
Fab stuff

If anyone wants ideas for what to spend money/vouchers on DS's 2 main pressies this year are better out of the box than I expected they'd be.

  1. Tiger - Plasma ball £10. This is really nice and MUCH cheaper than equilavents I've seen elsewhere. Ideal size for popping on top of bedside cabinet.
  1. Argos - £25 ALBA camcorder in red.
Easy to use for a hfa 7 year old - will be used for communication and social skills work e.g recording his friends expressions so he can watch them on the laptop and identify them later, making video social stories etc. Has a usb intergral so you can plug it straight into PC.

This has been a tough year financially as I haven't been able to work so I am over the moon that my cheapie pressies are OK iykwim.
