A cautionary tale ... and a bit of a giggle

Dickhead's never going to believe me, is he? I was picking up DS3's Christmas bike today, so after I struggled to put the bike rack on by myself for the first time I thought I'd make use of it and deliver Dickhead's bike to him, to make room in the shed (and get rid of the bloody thing.) So off I go to his house when the whole thing falls off the back of the car, Dickhead's (expensive) bike, the rack and all, just missing the car behind! Gulp! One very buckled wheel and a bit of help from passing motorists later I deliver said bike to Dickhead's house, then safely collect DS3's bike. I'm torn between being shaky and hysterical laughter...

lol Xmas Grin you've made me laugh for first time on a stressful day, would be great to see his face. what did he say?

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 16/12/2011 19:12

I just left it locked up on his doorstep and texted him! Blush He doesn't go to his rented place much when his OW is free from her poor little boy, so I don't think he's seen it. He just rang to talk to the boys from her place so I said sorry about the bike, but we don't really talk, so that was it. DS1 and 2 thought it was funny, but DS3 was feeling a bit sorry for him.
