SIL said shes thinking about getting it for ds. at 30 odd quid i dont want her to waste her money if its no good.

its an interactive toy specifically designed for kids with autism.

Not got one., but considered it just as a toy. I think the toy version is not nearly as good (well, you are paying a fraction of the price) as the original keepon which was designed for autistic kids.
