hi
our baby has been diagnosed with this; 5th ray missing, shortened leg and turned out ankle. Can anyone offer advice on where we might proceed in terms of treatment, best centres of expertise, and more importantly, positive stories, along the lines of 'he will be ok'.

thanks in advance

hiya
sorry to hear that you have received unexpected news about your baby but please don't panic and i would certainly advise against googling too and possibly wait to see what happens.
steps website is very good for limb disorders and sharing personal stories and information
from my limited knowledge as a parent of a child with a lower limb disorder i would say have a look at specialists in RJAH Oswestry and also Sheffield Childrens hospital
but would be worth talking to someone from the steps website
take care and remember that this doesn't change your baby - it changes you more than them and in my experience is harder for the parents than the baby- and doctors don't get everything right 100% of the time
