Hi
So nice to know there are people out there!!
I have tried joining other forums but found it a bit hard going as not everyone understands the situation.
Dizzy34 i see you have a 16yr old how do they get on with the younger one's problems.
My son is very good but he get's fed up with people asking him questions and using his sister to get at him.
By the way what does sn stand for(you can tell I am new!

Hi buzy, the older kids are brill with ds2. The eldest ds takes the little one into his room when his friends are there. They are all able to suction his airways, give his meds down his tube, make his diet up (they dont do it but i trained them incase the need arises), and they can all begin resus if he stops breathing. I think they get a bit fed up with answering questions and not having much attention, but they tend to get on with it. But my ds1 is a bit older than yours isnt he. 13yrs is still quite young.

Ooh, good luck Jo! And welcome to both of you. I've got a 10 year old DS with autism (non-verbal, sometimes challenging behaviour, very active!) and a nearly 3yr old DD who I'm now sure is NT (that means normal!) but she is a bossy interfering madam and gorgous too. I also have a sister who has Aspergers and a cousin who has a son with autism so its in the family!
HITC has come clean.... hasn't anyone noticed?

LizLocket · 12/01/2006 13:45
