Hi kinkipinki. I am not in exactly your position but fairly near. DS has HFA/AS and OCD. DH has OCD traits and AS traits in my opinion. He recognises the OCD but in in denial about the AS. I can understand a bit how complicated your life must be. How severe is your DH's OCD and is he getting any treatment for it?

Hi, my son has asd with lots of ocd behaviours, ocd and asd both run in the family. I have bipolar with asd and ocd traits too. If you want to talk then I'm here to listen x

Hi both, thanks so much for resonding to my plea!!!!!!!!!! NoHaudinMaWheest, dh is now the other side of nearly 18months of cbt and therapy so things are much improved, although there are set backs and bad days, especially at the moment as business is tough and stress levels are high! The overlap between ASD and OCD, in my opinion is very high, morethsan anything it is as if they share a personality type!!! But this causes quite a lot of tension at times, asIam sure you are witness too aswell????? Wow Auntyfash to have a lot to juggle!!!!!!!!!! I dowonder how many more of us women are jugglin these similar dynamics??????

Hi again kinkipinki. Good to hear that your DH's OCD is responding to treatment. I know what you mean about tension due to personality types. PM if you want to talk about it in more detail, as I feel it is too personal for a public board.
