I have just deactivated my FB account because I can't keep up with it and real life at the moment.
I am posting this here in case any of the Fan group wonder where I have gone (you know who you are). My initials are MFO in case you are wondering who has left the group.
Life with DS is so stressful at the moment and the only outlet I have to say "I am struggling" is Facebook. I just felt like I was living it out on there and need to be talking to people in RL and asking for proper support.
I phoned the Children's Disabilities Team this morning and have asked for some help - just hope they can provide it.
I think it is temporary and hope I will be back when life has settled down a bit.

Dillydaydreaming - I hope that things settle down for you soon. Please take time for yourself as and when you can, even if it's just a bubble bath in the evening after the DCs are in bed, so you can relax a bit. Don't feel guilty about taking time for yourself (I know I do - so easier said than done! Grin) When you're feeling a bit better, I'd be curious to know what your reaction is to the Children's Disabilities Team, as I've toyed with the idea of calling them, but haven't yet.
