Hi There.

I'm posting again for advice grrr. One of these days i may be able to offer some! Anytime precious time i get on the computer is taken up on selfish endeavours atm.

Can anyone help advise me as to how i can go about referring my daughter to a different NHS neurologist?? We really want a second opinion and to change Neurologists/ hospitals.

Is it possible to go out of area? We are at Kings but would happily travel anywhere if it meant a better DR.

Many many thanks

You're entitled to second opinion. My mum took me back to gp when I was young got referral to a different neurologist 50 miles away and was well worth it

I don't like our paediatric neurologist either, we will be requesting that we go back to GOSH on Friday when we meet with her.

Many thanks all. hifi thankyou for the Dr Foster link - i had forgotten about that resource. We cant afford private at the moment and our insurance wont cover a pre existing condition. Now i just have to find the time to research an NHS one!"
Dawndonn i wonder if we have the same one Hmm ? our's is also a "her".

Their is a brilliant one at the Evelina - not sure he'd like me mentioning his name - but apparently there are '57 Varieties'!
