Has anyone used the Tandem Buggy from Activate?

I have seen this in the My Child & Me Magazine - does anyone know if it really works? Thats for a 5 year old with cerebral palsy and a 6month old baby. you can see on their website - just incase you don't recognise it: www.activateforkids.co.uk/tandem.htm

We looked at that one for DS2 (aged 3.5, hypotonia, hypermobility and gross motor delay) and DS3 (10 months). We changed our minds though as we decided it was too big and heavy for the bus and wheelchair services wanted £800 excess for it which we didn't have. I'm using the phil and teds at the moment. Someone at playgroup has a 5 year old who has Edwards syndrome and a 1 year old and she has a double baby jogger but I can't find the exact one on the internet.

The double baby jogger has problems so they are on recall...we were waiting to see the Rep about it!!! Now waiting to see about Activate Tandem....It is basically the Tom buggy with back seat addition.

We are using Phil and Teds too but not doing anything for DS posture !! I have DS with SN and DD 7 months

No wonder I couldn't find it. I've found myself accidently pregnant again so not sure whether to get a sling and hope that ds2 won't need the buggy in a year or so or try and find a triple buggy that won't collapse under the weight of a 4 year old.

hi guys i know its 6 monthson but i have only just joined i have the activate tandem i bought well fundraised for it by the time i got it my now 2 year old walks and refuses to go in the pram so have only used it 5 times:( It is great you can use it as a single or double fits on a bus, comes with toddler and baby seat ( not used at all ) and raincover, :) paid
£3300 for it six months ago reasonable offers xxx
