suggested for second opinion referral. Have people been there? Good or bad?

It's meant to be the best in the country for anxiety disorders/ocd, and have an adult friend who had v. good treatment there. Not strictly answering your question but what I've heard/read on the adult side has been v v positive.

Seriously it's the kind of opportunity you grab with both hands as it's a national centre of excellence & where it isn't has comprehensive links both here and abroad to people who are. This lot really know what they are doing.

Some cahms departments are so bad it's either dangerous or embarrassing. Maudsley is so far above that category its shocking people have similar job titles iykwim.

pm me if you want as I'm not willing to share successful stories about other people on a public board without their permission jst cos it feels a bit cheeky and personal iykwim.

MY DS spent 8 months there last year so I have recent experience of some areas. If you pm me I can go into more detail than in public.
