Grace (4) just came out and said "I ahve just tried to make Ellie better"

I said "how"?

and she said "I have used my medical set to whizz all her meningitis away"

how lovely!!!! Had very wet eyes!!!

She then said she looked into Ellies tummy and there were not many sleeps in there!!!!!!!! lol lol lol she is very right

Had to laugh

You'll have to print out this thread to read next time things are tough. I'm glad you've had such a good day.

NI must be getting all hormonal because re-reading the bit about "Dr Grace" is making me feel all teary-eyed again!

anniebear · 03/01/2006 17:50

lol

I bet this will be the first and last time I ever say I'm not bothered about School!!

Although I really hope it isn't!!

I was expecting these hols to be so bad but Ellie's tantrums haven't been as bad for some reason. I was thinking maybe it's because she is usually so tired doing a full week at school (she started full time day after 4th Birthday!)

I have still done lots with them but it isn't the same as being at School is it?

So maybe she is having less tantrums as she isn't as tired. Also I am not as stressed rushing them both to different Schools so we are more relaxed of a morning.

Who knows!!

How nice to hear that you've had a good hol. Was your DH at home, makes all the difference for us as he's here over Xmas. Love the story about Dr Grace too, how sweet she is

anniebear · 03/01/2006 19:48

yes he was off. But Ellie behaves terrible even then, weekends are usually awful, partic Sundays whe we don't do much.

We did see quite a bit of my family and that helped

But as it was so cold we did stay in sometimes and it wasn't too bad. This is from the woman who can regulary just sit and cry over the the girls!!

He went back to work today so I had the girls from 7.30-6.00 and again, they were ok!! I am sure it will be a one off!

Grace is so funny. She really has kept us going through Ellie being ill.

She has just said her prayers and said "Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for me"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she did go on to ask that Ellie will sleep better so Ill let her off
