independent special schools - advice for parents

are there any advice lines for parents who have a child in an independent ASD special school? Can IPSEA/ACE give advice? Am trying to get through now but they're engaged. Does anyone have any advice on who to contact?

My dd2 went to an independent SS for just over a year, not sure if I can be any help.

I am sure IPSEA and NAS can give advice regardless of whether the school is independent or LEA funded. The NAS runs independent schools so must be able to give advice. Good luck.

Hi, I agree with IPSEA and NAS, however you have just knocked me for 6, having had a really bad experience of SS for the last 5 year, my ds has the go ahead to move school. We were thinking of an independent autistic school. Hope you get sorted x
