My sister has had her DLA stopped, apparently due to not enough minutes regarding care for her dd, her dd is 13 yrs but still no dx has been made, experts are totally baffled. She has been recieving dla for the past 6 years, she wants to appeal, how does she go about this?

TIA

Check out this link. here has a very good guide on how to fill out DLA forms, and basically tells you how to fill in a DLA form so you give them the information they want to hear.

I am going through the appeal stage atm, i have enlisted the help of the benefits agency, your local one will have a dept to help you with situations like this.

They will help to fill out the appeal form and will even go to the tribunal with you as they are doing with me next month.

i appealed for my daughter a couple of months ago and they changed their decision from just what i wrote on the appeal form so its worth getting someone who knows what they are looking for to help your sister with this process.
