Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this. At my DS parents night the teacher mentioned that she thought he had some problems with his recall, in particular his long term memory. It seems it goes in but he has trouble remembering it. He is currently getting phonics support along with another 3 from his class. But it seems to have come to ahead whilst doing Big Maths Beat that, he was unable to answer any questions (7) within the time. Teacher felt he panicked abit, even though had been covering the topic in class. She has agreed to test him again but not with a time constraint and making available number lines etc.
We wonder whether he is mildly dyslexic, we do have a behavioural optromitists appt end of Nov.
Any advice or experience will greatly reduce my anxiety. Thanks.
