I know alot of our children will have more contact with a TA. Are you getting a special present? I need ideas or our TA will be getting a box of biscuits and she deserves much more than that.

DS has 4 so I always get some nice stuff in the Boots 75% off sale in January or its gets far too expensive to buy them something nice. Not much help for you now I know but maybe something to think about for next year :)

I have done pottery painting stuff before now - dd1 is quite good at painting colourful spots on a mug/trinket dish.picture frame.

I used to get a small body shop gift set (shower gels or hand creams type thing) or Thornton's Chocolates for each of my DS's TA's when he was at Primary School. Was glad to be able to knock it on the head when DS went to Secondary as was running out of ideas!!! DS doesn't even know the names of half his TA's now there are so many!!!

I am getting DD's 1:1 a yankee candle, some store vouchers and chocs. I wish I could buy her a car she's so amazing!

we've done earings for the TAs and class teacher, (ds has 'painted' the paper on the computer and I made beads from it, and then made earings) It sounds very 'blue peter, sticky back plastic' but they have come out more 'craft fair, expensive, honest!) Grin

I have then bought an oxfam gift for them all to share, (books and materials for a school in Africa) I know his one to one TA loves homemade bread pudding, so I am going to make her one in addition to the above.
