just seen at the right of the screen the ad for a SN calendar. Well I clicked on the link and seen the calendar. They only have a tiny space to write on each day!!
I dont know about the rest of you but some days I can have 2-3 appointments in one day! We need more space than that Grin

oh, what a shame! i love the idea, and the pictures look great, but how completely and utterly impractical! we have to use a family planner type as it's the only way there's enough space for appointments etc.

aw, what a shame.

silverfrog · 10/11/2011 16:52

yes, we use a family planner type too -only way to keep track of multiple appts, and dd2's increasingly hectic social life.

i know, like the idea of calendar, but no way we can use anything other than family planner :(

I have a whacking huge diary, without it I'm lost Blush I suppose this may be a good gift for a family member, especially one that needs to see children with sn in a different way?

organisedmum.com or similar is on my santa list.

Yup lots of space to write and an a1 whiteboard + LOTS of storage for all the paperwork & I only have the one sprog. stickers & post its are good too.

Deffo one for the twitchy curtain judgy pants neighbours Wink

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 10/11/2011 17:54

why did I google organisedmum, lovely stuff Grin

silverfrog · 10/11/2011 18:27

oh, organised mum stuff is fab.

I have their weekly planner - loads of space to write in (not separate per person spaces, though - I colour code entries instead) with tear off shopping/to do lists each week. and an overlay for all the routine stuff. just about keeps us going.

instead of a whiteboard, I use our fridge Blush - loads of space ot write on, and just wipes clean. and at some point, it is in everyone eyeline Grin, so no claims of 'i didn't see it' Grin

This is what Google calender is for! I can't organise myself enough to write it on paper but at least I can either put it in my phone or on my laptop. Grin
