And I wonder why that is..........?
Made an FOI request in July about how many phase transfer statements missed the February deadline.
Got a delayed partial response which incidentally showed only less than 1% missed the February deadline but referred entirely to primary to secondary transfers and then a ridiculous claim that the LEA don't hold records for post sixteen phase transfer statements.
I responded clarifying my request and explaining that if they didn't hold the records then they wouldn't be able to arrange an annual review and asked them to look again.
Had another response today admitting that initially I was given the wrong information and they do hold the information but for year 2008/2009 they don't have electronic records and to do it manually would exceed the number of hours and so they have refused to supply the details.
What is conspicuous by its absence is that they have made no mention of the subsequent years statistics which now by their own admission they have and have electronic records for and so wouldn't be able to use time constraints as a reason to withhold the information I requested.
I wonder exactly why they are so reluctant to share this information
could it be that it will show that the LEA pay scant regard to their statutory duty and flagrantly flout the law I wonder?
