Multi-Agency Meeting at School

I have to attend a Multi-Agency meeting this week at School. Other attendees are: Parent partnership, Psychologist SALT, class teacher, SENCO, ansd potentially an EP atranged by psychologist.
I'm wondering who leads the meeting? SENCO has told me what she wants from the meeting (to tell me not to worry no doubt), but Parent Partnership said to me that it's my meeting. I read somewhere that I should have had an agenda already, but nothing has appeared to date. does anybody have a clue to this sort of meeting - it's my first one!
Also, someone said to me to decide what I want from school? I don't know where to start really. I suppose I want them to teach DS1, and also to look after him to build his self-esteem. He is dreading going to school as he has such a downer on himself. Each day now they have to drag him off me. I know Psychologist is going to ask them to help me with his food issues, but that's about all I can predict.

Looking forward to it and dreading it all at the same time.

No agenda? Great. Write your own.

And to chair it, nominate a professional you trust and who seems tough enough not to be fobbed off.

mariamagdalena Great idea - lol :-)

Have my notebook ready - have an essay ready already! Need to cut back and focus I think.

My biggest issue is that they are saying they will not do so much as give DS1 overlays until they receive the recommendation in writing. The Optometrist has not yet referred DS1 but I know there's a 3 or 4 month wait. Only then will he probably get a true accurate diagnoses of Visual Tracking difficulties along with any recommendations. Goodbye year 1!!!

Am I in my rights to demand they are proactive? Ive told the SENCO the initial assessment result from the Optometrist, and the SENCO says School have things they used for another child but they refuse to do anything until they receive anything in writing.
