DS has HMS. Has anyone done the GOSH 2 week intensive in-patient course?

Not direct experience as a patient...but professional experience of GOS-afaik the team will do some intensive multi-disciplinary work with your DS-the advantage of this team is that everyone is literally and figuratively in the same place. You will meet the fantastic physio, do some hydrotherapy. get excellent dietary advice, OT input as well as medical and nursing. When you leave you will be armed with lots of info to continue and reduce the effects that the HMS is having on your DS. GOS are excellent at looking at the impact a disease has on your life as a family so can show you effective strategies to help you adapt your whole life.

Thanks oddgirl. That sounds really promising. It has been a long slog to get to this stage as local practitioners do not understand this condition and would rather say there is nothing that can be done rather than say there is nothing we can do.
