I have had 2 meltdowns already from ds and its only 10am!!!

All the usual programme times have changed due to xmas and both him and dd are NOT happy with that, last night he was awful, hed been down to my sisters and had got some presents from the rest of my family and when he came back was so hyperactive he was terrible.

How are the rest of you all coping?

My 4 are with their father for the week, and I am missing them like hell, made worse by the fact DP is back at work today, so its just me and the cat.

I know that my kids behaviour is far worse than normal, having spoke to a family member who saw them yesterday, so I have all the tantrums and meltdowns to come when they come home saturday.

It's all a bit up and down here. Ds1 has been finding it all a bit overwhelming but takes himself off to somewhere quiet where he can relax a bit. Ds2 is currently working himself up into a mini-meltdown. He loved watching his beloved Wallace & Gromit on the telly this morning but doesn't understand that it isn't on a continuous loop.

Ds1 cheered up when I told him that he would be going back to school in just over a week.
