Hope you all ahve a 'good day' we have had two tired monkeys who managed to stay awake til almost midnight Christmas Eve and had a small sleepin - so have been hot, irritable and exhausted. They have collpsed in their rooms now, dh is downstairs watching a video and I am waiting for an email to download.

Very hot here - about 90 degrees farenheit, about 34/36 celsius - jsut had a storm and it is no cooler. sorry to gloat nah!!!

Merry Christmas. Just going to feed and dress dd, then it'll be a massive present opening fest. She's not got the hang of tearing paper yet, so it could take us all day

Thanks (!) for remembering my birthday Coppertop . Disneyland Paris was wonderful (with an exit pass because of ds2 we really were treated like VIPS) and I managed to say goodbye to my thirties without being too morose!

IDAAX - Happy Birthday! Half way to 70 is better than half way to 80 btw!! Especially as Ds1 tells me that the average person is dead by the time they are 80 (cheerful little soul!

Dd was a little bit overwhelmed after opening her presents so went to her room for a bit.
She then entertained my family for the whole of the day reeling off the order that people went out in the X Factor (her fav. programme)

My best christmas present was this morning when dd spontaneously picked up one of her new dolls and a toy bottle and pretended to give her dolly some milk..... for a moment she was just like any other 3 year. Brought a few tears to my eye.
