Hi all i need to know at what age/weight can a child travel in a booster seat with no back on legally as i am having a demo with a Windmill magnetic harness and am sure he is wrong in saying my daughter could travel on a booster with the back off if she is 15 kg ?

He is right. A booster seat with out a back is for a child 15kg-36kg

It is legal at 15 kg although safety specialists recommend from 22kg and booster cushions are being phased out.

It just seemed wrong to me as there would be no support from the back and sides ? Thanks for answering . My dd is under 15kg so would need letter from doctor .

Just been looking at the instructions for her car booster seat and it says 22-36 kg approx 4 - 11 for using it without the back

not sure exactly of harness but could it work with this www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_824817_langId_-1_categoryId_165554 as would be able to get harness round it if needed I have these car seats and they are very comfortable for the children and easily maneuverable
