She hates school, everything about it. Every single day she moans about going but usually gives in and goes. Occasionaly just can't.

She refused to go this morning and has been in bed all day and hasn't spoken a word.

She can't say why she hates it, just that she does.

I don't know what I am supposed to do. Just carry on arguing with her every day for another 3 years? Or what? There is no alternative. I can't/won't home ed her. It would do neither of us any good.

School are crap and offer no suggestions.

Hi Zombie, I wondered how you were getting on? My DD nearly 13 is going through this at the moment. She can't say why she doesn't want to go just that when she's there she feels the need to be home. She then focuses on all the little issues that crop up at school and will blame that but no matter what you do something else always takes it place. Even if I say something that she doesn't like in a morning that will be her excuse not to go!

hi saz. much the same as ever here. the usual hour long rant every morning.

she goes mostly which is as good as it gets.

I was hoping things might have improved for you hun x it's so bloody stressful! My DD is on a reduced timetable of 2 hours a day to see if it reduced the anxiety but it hasn't! I just get the attitude and meltdowns for an extra 4 hours instead lol!

Sending you positive vibes x
