Bees bees everywhere!

this summer is proving to be a nightmare with dd2 she has a phobia of any flying bug/insect and screams "beeeeee" whenever she sees one. a ladybird landed on her hand yesterday and she was nearly hyperventilating! Not to mention the huge spiders that are about and the wasps!
And I have just booked a holiday abroad for us next year! Let's hope she grows out of this as at the moment she has to be covered up in the buggy to prevent her being invaded by the killer bees!

Definitely don't go to Australia then! Have you heard of the australian salute? Its the flick of the hand to swat them away from your face Grin
Disclaimer: I love Australia and would go back any time (have family there) - i would even live there!

Maybe a move to the arctic is the solution :)

My dd used to be very phobic about any winged things and it made summer really difficult. She tried to get out of the car once when a fly came in the window and we were travelling at 40mph. Not so bad now though, although she went to Butterfly World with some friends last month and hated it!
