Please tell me what happens

Got our appointment with the paed on Friday to discuss ASD - we've submitted our diary, given health history etc via GP.

What happens at this first appointment with paed?

What are we likely to be asked?

Will it be observation of ds?

Anything I can advise ds beforehand, or is it better that he's unaware, so will show how he behaves in unusual environment?

Any advice gratefully appreciated.

The paed will probably just talk to you and talk to DS. Obviously while talking he's also observing

Try and remember all his baby milestones. When did he first walk and talk etc.

Thanks - fortunately got all the dates, as our GP made us note all that for the referral letter.

Multitasking I'm impressed that's what med school enables
