He's four and has autism. I'm amazed! I was part of the haranguing of Shiny Dave campaign at the time but had no idea it had changed. Or could it be local rather than national policy?

Terrible that the PCT's are still not playing by the rules.

Locally you couldn't get as many pull ups as nappies - not so great for a teenager. It was successfully fought on 'dignity' grounds and pointing out they're not allowed blanket policies.

We got 4 a day at first but after several years of buying several packs of huggies pull ups a month we managed to get ours raised to 5.
He usually needs a few extra bought at the middle of the 3rd month, worse when it is holiday time(he is out of nappies at school but refuses at home)
He is starting to grow out of the size he is in and we were offered a pad and pants style nappy. They were absolutely useless, the pad didn't stay in one place so poo went everywhere, the pants were itchy for him and they leaked really bad

I have asked about buying more of the nappies the service send me but they told me I can't. He uses the nightime pants in age 11-15 but they only hold a wee or poo.

of corse his hes on the big side of small medium would work as there 80-115cm

also cont services dont like to give nappies for older kids just the useless pad and pants, which as you experianced areo nly good for bedridden.
