A whole year has gone past and it is time for our first annual statement review. DS is 5, has ASD and has just gone into year one. He has full time 1:1 support in school, OT, and the autism outreach team all have allocated hours too.
I'm pretty unsure of what I need to be asking or ensuring for year one. I am concerned that he doesn't get behind (he struggles with focus and behavior) but I'm not sure if there is anything we can do about this?
Can anyone who has been through this process give me any tips, ideas of questions, recommendations that we can be raising in the meeting. I'm feeling at a bit of a loss.
