the other night i spent about 2 hours starting a DLA claim form online.

am about halfway through, if that.

went to log on tonight and it won't let me. i am 99% certain of my password

rang the helpline who said they can't reset passwords, tough luck, i have to start again

thanks.

Very irritating, don't trust it again, print off questions and answer them on word then copy, paste.

Agree with Mango

Poor you having to do that again though

Better still, phone up and ask them to send you a form - you claim will then be dated from when you phoned rather than when they received the completed form - you get a good 6 weeks, iirc, to complete it.

unbelievable they can't reset passwords. I have never come across a website that you can't reset. Is this another way of putting us off claiming?

SparkleRainbow · 20/09/2011 12:52

Probably Sad Sorry you have to do it again.

I have claimed dla for years for myself and now do for my dd and I will never ever trust their computer system! It may be quicker than a paper form but so much can go wrong!
Get a paper form and if you need to type it out and stick it in but stay clear of the online version!

There ya go Smile scroll down and choose Download a form to complete on your computer

choose the under 16 one and save it to your computer. You can complete it as you go and save as you go and then print off Smile

I am currently completing one myself. I think you have to print off as you have to actually sign the form Smile
