Has anyone heard of this,they have been recommended to me re ds2 who has been diagnosed with low IQ,spatial problems etc

Nope, never heard of it. Have you tried googling? Is that the best anyone can do, suggest something obviously obscure that almost no-one's heard of? Does your DS have a dx, how far into the system is he?
