GAPS Diet Support Thread

Anybody doing, or trying to do, or thinking about doing the GAPS diet is welcome to post here.......

Biokult is the probiotic she has worked with the manufacters to develop but she doesn't recommend any one type. She reckons the more types of bacteria the better, biokult has 14 strains. I would introduce them very slowly everyone has a unique reaction and it can be very strong. I pull the capsule apart and sprinkle them on the girls food and they don't mind them at all.
I think I started with 1/4 or an 1/8 of a capsule for my girls 1yrs and 3yrs as they were then when I started. Unfortunately probiotics (or the good ones anyway) are not cheap.
I can really recommend the yahoo GAPShelp group. Yahoo groups are not half as nice as using a proper forum like mumsnet but you will get lots of really helpful advise there.
