5q 21.1 chromosome partial duplication

Does anyone know what the implications might be. DS is almost 3 and has language delay, some delay with social interaction and communication which could be down to his glue ear or a wider issue. He is otherwise developing normally so far. Does anyone know what, if any, implications might be of such a partial chromosome duplication or if such a thing can be benign (or insignificant)?

Hi cjn - have you tried contacting Unique? They might be able to help with some information and put you into with other families with a similar deletion.
