Dd1, myself, her little friend and friend's mum went to a Wiggles concert today. Both girls were a little overwhelmed by it all - dd1 had a couple of little episodes where it seemed like too much assault on her senses BUT she did dance and sing along and have a fab time - she then came home, had her dinner and went straight to sleep - I think she wore herself out.

Her little face was a treat to see. Have some pics of her all dressed up ready to go. Will have to post them later.

Just had such a good time - good tobe out just her and I - dd2 had some one on one time with dh.

ooh I'm glad you got to see them and had a great time.
My dd2 was also a bit stunned and amazed during the concert - I guess it must be quite odd when you're used to seeing them small on the TV
Looking forward to the pictures!

Ooooh, been waiting to hear about this. so glad it went well.... and she exhausted herself Its easy to forget how overwhelming something like this can be. I took DS and DD to an "autism-friendly" concert yesterday. My sis and her DD came so I thought DD and her cousin (both NT) would just clear off and get stuck in. ALthough they're both quite lively and outgoing it was surprising to see how shy they can be at something unfamiliar..... they warmed up though! DS had a good time too. There was a fantastic pianist who is blind and autistic, the whole thing was great.
