private developmental paediatrician

Hi
My DS is 2.3 and speech delayed, with a few additional worrying features like no pointing and toe walking. We have medical insurance and I believe there are some developmental paediatricians who are very good who you can see privately. Has anyone had any experience of this or any names/advice to offer?
