Finally, got DP's!!!!!!!!!

After nearly 3 years since I made the first call to SS I have had my direct payments agreed. They have also agreed to fund 2 days per week in the holidays (including the xmas hols which I do feel guilty about tbh).

So pleased and relieved. Will be used to pay for breakfast and after school club term time and then in the holidays will be used to pay for an extra pair of hands

No one pleased for me then

Hi davros . Really? I wonder if it depends on where you live as my friend uses hers to pay for mencap and I can use it for when dd goes to the sn Saturday club.

Well done BH. My DP"s account is the only one with any money in. We're not allowed to use it to access services either, only people. Not that there are any services we could access for ds1. I am going to ask in the future though if I can use it for ds2's and ds3's holiday club thus freeing me up to take ds1 out.

Actually I've never asked because I have somone whose time I use enough to use up the DPs anyway. I'm sure that's what I was told so I might check.
