Has anyone used the Health Service Ombudsman?

Are they as useless as the LGO?

Basically, yes, they are useless. They, like the LGO, want you to exhaust all other processes first, then more-or-less back the Health Board.
What is the point of these Ombudsman when the onus is on yourself to do all the work and to make a case. And their job is exactly???
