I've been trying to get in touch with the salt, but having no joy.

I am supposed to be using the chewy tube to help ds to learn to use his jaw when chewing (he is 14 months and a feeding assessment showed that he is not chewing correctly).

The trouble I have is actually trying to get the thing in his blimming mouth - he chews and mouths everything, just not the tube!

Any advice or useful links?

Could you smear it with something yummy, like chocolate? They smell a bit. DD didn't take to hers for months, then became quite obsessed by it.

Dd2 is older but we just swap it for whatever she's chewing, so as soon as she puts something in her mouth i swap it and say 'no, chew the chewey tube', for a while it worked but then we gave up (lazy mummy), she now chews her chewy necklace or whatever else she finds around the house. Good luck x
