Can I just celebrate - ds just waved - little things are huge aren't they!

Ds (14 months, developmentally delayed), just waved goodbye to dh, we both burst into tears. He sat unsupported at 12 months and that felt huge, but this has just floored us!

So cute, well done to your ds!!!! My dd always makes me cry with pride too when she learns something new :)

Her latest thing is to blow kisses, although sadly she normally aims these at scary or miserable looking men in shopping centres rather than towards me or dh...

Ha! Well ds has decided he is not a performing monkey, and is now resolutely NOT waving, he has discovered that he can throw things on the floor from his highchair and that this is hilarious!

Oh bless. Sounds like he is now progressing in leaps and bounds. Throwing things from his high chair and laughing is def a developmental milestone kids are meant to progress through.

Your 13 month Old

Throwing stuff out of his cot or highchair and watching you retrieve and return it is great fun for a 13 month old

Look - he's hardly delayed at all now :)
