Ds is 3 and has severe verbal dyspraxia. He also has a strong dislike of buttons. We have been working on encouraging him to be more assertive as nursery said he wasn't sticking up for himself. The other dp took ds and dd to the park and an older boy started teasing him about his climbing abilities. Dp watched to see what would happen and then ds turned to the boy and said
"You a meanie and you got buttons". The boy was speechless and walks off ........ I did laugh!!
