Hi all... not a bad week at chez sign, have recovered from my 'why didn't they interview me' grumps Grin. dh has sorted out three boxes of his crap precious possesions! and I am nearly finished my last marking for the year.
ds is (nakedly) Grin happily playing lego and I had a huge cooked brekkie this morning at the new local restaurant. (doesn't take much to make me happy) Grin

How was it for you?

Evening all. Goodness Friday already? Are you sure? Confused

Starlight your campsite sounds great.

Well, Dd1 has spent the week swimming which was good. and earlier today said "piss off" to a cat on the telly and has spent the rest of the evening begging me not to tell daddy.
Dd2 is asleep on my lap. Which means she'll be up at 5am tomorrow. But on the plus side she's been doing fab signing this week. Highlight being "doggy-wobbly bits-funny" (yup he's a boy)
Oh and I have my puppy.

So not a bad week. Just gone so quickly.

starfishmummy · 12/08/2011 20:17

Week 3 of the holidays and at last Ds is over the squitters and has been to holiday club today. He's been bored stiff - although a new ps game helped this week. Next week he's at club every day while rush round getting ready for our holiday.

Triggles · 12/08/2011 20:18

Vera welcome to the world of puppies weeing on the carpet. LOL

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 12/08/2011 20:24

Thanks triggles have laminate as dd2 wees on carpet. Although it isn't wee that I've been cleaning up. Eeeeewwwww.

Poor pup, he must think he's in a mad house.

Triggles · 12/08/2011 20:25

ours is driving us spare...take him outside to wee and poo... he just wanders around, then comes inside and does it grrrrrrr

StarlightMcKenzie · 12/08/2011 20:26

It's okay Justa, I must be over it as when you Suggested it might be terrifying I assumed you mention next doors rendition of pinball wizard.

We're in Broadstairs.

signandsmile · 12/08/2011 20:29

vera you know how you can mis read things.... Blush

i read you had laminated, (ie made symbol) for 'dd wees on the floor'

Blush Grin lol

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 12/08/2011 20:35

Signandsmile now that would be a good idea! Although may just be easier to laminate dd and pup.

Triggles you've gotta be quicker than that. Do you have a crate?

Triggles · 12/08/2011 20:36

Nope. I have a DH. It's HIS job. LOL Grin

Triggles · 12/08/2011 20:37

He's slowly starting to get it.... just verrrrry slowly.... lol

coff33pot · 12/08/2011 20:40

My pup is now 12 months old and hates the rain/bath/sea so wont go out unless dragged out in the weather we are having. Ended up having to put my stainless steel bin in the garden for him as he insisted it was his lampost in the house! Grin

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 12/08/2011 20:42

Also have DH. he says it's my job. well he is my dog think it's all about big fussed when he goes outside and ignoring the inside ones. So like toddlers. :o except I think pup is easier than dd2.

auntevil · 12/08/2011 20:43

Or laminate the doggy wobbly bits? Could work too? Grin welcome to the world of chocolate labness Vera. When ours gives my DH 'the look' - he always feels guilty that he's done something wrong. When I shoot him 'the look' - he just snaps 'what is it now'. That's the joy of 10 years together - no guilt left! Grin
Star - maybe I misread your post too - pinball wizard - with harmonies - justa suggesting insanity at camping holiday - are you sure you are in Broadstairs and not Broadmoor?

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 12/08/2011 20:44

Coff33pot :o at lamppost in the house.

unpa1dcar3r · 12/08/2011 20:45

Evening All (blimey anyone remember Dixon of Dock Green or am I just showing me age???)

Off on our jollies tomorrow yippee, Norfolk he we come, be warned!

Hope everyone has a good week Smile

auntevil · 12/08/2011 20:53

sadly, yes unpaid - does that qualify us for gransnet? Have a good week in Norfolk
Vera - how much chewing of valuable items have you had? I found that worse than clearing up the mess - which she got over much quicker than the stealing (ongoing )

Triggles · 12/08/2011 20:56

I told DH that I wouldn't agree to getting the puppy unless he took full responsibility for it. I still end up doing a little, but DH is the chief cleaner-upper of poo and wee, and feeder and brusher, etc etc. (I told him if he dropped the ball on that job, I'd let the dog wee on his side of the bed. Blush Grin)

signandsmile · 12/08/2011 21:00

right, lap top off now..... (evening curfew!). night all, will catch up on all you owls when ds and i are 'lark'-ing in the morning, Grin

Quick hello from me!

Funny old week, very stressful but some very good moments. DS was amazing at psych appointment, kicking his sister, screaming, lining up cars, needing constant attention. All while DD who is just 1, self entertained and was sociable with the psych.

Our puppy is a friggin nightmare for weeing and pooing indoors too. Hates the rain. keeps weeing on sofa and pooing upstairs if we forget to shut stair gate. lil bugger.

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 12/08/2011 21:02

Auntevil- Um, only had him since last sat. Don't allow him upstairs, and have stair gates in every door (for dd2). House is dd2 proofed. And pup in inclosure overnight. So not much he can get his teeth into.
The odd sock or shoe, which we take off him as quickly as he gets it, and replace with playing with one of his toys. The kings that you can put kibble in are the best as he is rewarded for playing/chewing it.

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 12/08/2011 21:05

*kongs not kings blinking auto correct.

Smug - good about psych.
