For those of you who take their own children to school do you get paid an allowance and if so how much, reason I ask is last year for DS's final year council fucked up the taxi contract so I ended up taking him allowance was 36p a mile. Council doesn't know he's finished school 
despite them being told it was his last year and have sent the new forms out mileage allowance has dropped to 13.9p a mile wouldn't of thought that would even cover the fuel cost for most.
