My daughter who was 2 at the time was prescribed it!

I know it was prescribed for an Uncle of mine when I cared for him. It was pretty strong stuff and did the trick.

Is it still in sachet form? If so perhaps half a sachet might be better to start with.

Hello,
My ds has been prescribed paediatric movicol, so yes there is movicol that is specifically for children.

Thanks for your replies- I think I'd better phone the surgery tomorrow-He has to have 3 sachets to start with,so I don't think it should be the adult stuff !!

My dd is on Movicol and on one occasion, I had to buy some for her, she is 7 but the only one they had was the adult type, when I called our continence nurse she told me to half the dose.

Good luck with it my dd has 6-7 sachets a day !!
